Coast Mountain College (CMTN) invites applications for a non-regular/on-call term position. The appointment will commence May 1, 2025, and end August 29, 2025. This position requires a flexible schedule, as some evening/weekend work and travel will be required. Salary will be in accordance with the BCGEU Support Staff level 6: $30.15 per hour plus pay in lieu of vacation and benefits.

Duties: The Field School Technician will support the organization and successful delivery of multiple field schools throughout the college region. This position will include transporting students and attending over-night and multi-night field trips. This position can be based at the Terrace or Prince Rupert campus.
Tasks will include:
- Provide administrative support for field schools
- Assist with set-up and maintenance of teaching equipment and field gear, ensuring gear is well organized
- Assist with delivery of lessons and activities and provide students with tutorial/academic support and encouragement
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Demonstrate equipment use and specifics in procedure as required
- Prepare and maintain an inventory list of equipment and gear for field schools and ensure proper storage
- All other related duties of similar scope and complexity
