Request transcripts
Official transcripts are used by educational institutions during the admissions or the transfer credit process.
Students who apply for admission to post-secondary institutions are generally required to provide official transcripts from all previously attended institutions.
Ordering Transcripts:
Students may request a Coast Mountain College official transcript online at myCMTN
or
At the registration desk of any Coast Mountain College campus.
Fees for transcripts are for each copy ordered, and are payable in advance. There is a processing fee of $10 for each transcript/delivery method requested.
Please note: Official transcripts will not be processed for students who have outstanding debts to the College.
Service:
Transcripts are ready within 2 business days of payment.
Transcripts are processed on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week.
Delivery options:
EMAIL – Official transcripts are sent to the organization you indicate on your request form via registered official email and is considered official transcript by other institution.
MAIL - sealed transcripts are sent to the mailing address you indicate on your order form.
Regular orders are sent by Canada Post regular mail. It can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks for delivery.
PICK UP - sealed transcripts can be held for you to pick up at the CMTN campus that you indicate on your order form. Note that transit time between campuses is not included in the service time to produce official transcripts.
- You must present photo ID when picking up your transcript order. Your ID must match the name on your transcript.
- Only you are allowed to pick up your official transcript. Under special circumstance, a signed letter of permission accompanying the third party may be acceptable for individuals picking up transcripts on behalf of the student.

Receiving Transcripts From Other Canadian Post-Secondary Institutions
CMTN will accept transcripts emailed directly from a pre-established institutional email address from the Registrar’s officer. Official transcripts should be scanned, including the back page and emailed to info@coastmountaincollege.ca
For post-secondary transcripts from outside Canada, we recommend use of courier service. Transcripts should be sent to the Office of the Registrar, 5331 McConnell Ave, Terrace, BC V8G 4X2
Sending Transcripts to Other Institutions
Physical copies of transcripts can be ordered for pick up at any of our campuses at our Enrollment Services Desks. Please indicate which campus you would like to pick your transcript up from when you complete your order. If you are not picking your transcript up at the Terrace campus, please allow 5 business days for the transcript to be available at one of our regional campuses. You must present photo ID when picking up your transcript order. Your ID must match the name on your transcript. A signed release of information can be submitted to the College for another individual to pick up your transcript on your behalf.
If the destination of your transcript is a Canadian post-secondary institution, we can send a copy electronically via a PDF. Please include the email address where you would like the transcript sent to in your order. A standard transcript fee of $10 CDN applied for each transcript request.
If you require a physical copy of your official transcript to be sent within British Columbia, CMTN can offer courier service at an additional cost of $20.00 CDN. The $10.00 CDN transcript order fee will still apply.
If you require a physical copy of your official transcript to be sent within Canada, CMTN can offer courier service at an additional cost of $30.00 CDN. The $10.00 CDN transcript order fee will still apply.
Submission of High School Transcripts
BC grade 12 students should request their transcripts be submitted electronically to CMTN through the StudentTranscriptsService (STS): https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/education-training/k-12/support/transcripts-and-certificates. Ensure they select “Send Interim and Final Marks when they become available” and use the default date indicated under ‘allow this post-secondary institution to request updates until the date specified below’ - this should post-date the anticipated start date of their studies at CMTN.
We accept transcripts emailed to info@coastmountaincollege.ca . We may also accept the originals if brought into our office in its original sealed/stamped envelope.
