Safety protocols

Proof of vaccination

Proof of vaccination is no longer required to access businesses, events and services in B.C. This includes post-secondary student housing.

Federal proof of vaccination is still required for federally regulated travel, like air travel

Face coverings

Wearing masks in public indoor settings is not required by public health. Wearing a mask is a personal choice. Masks are not required at Coast Mountain College, but encouraged on public transit and BC Ferries.

It’s important that we respect the choices of people, businesses and one another.

Rapid antigen testing kits are free

To get a rapid antigen testing kit, you must be working or learning on campus. Ask your Housing Coordinator or Instructor on how to get your personal kit.

A test should only be used by people who develop symptoms of COVID-19 and want to confirm a positive or negative result. The tests are not suitable for international travel requirements.

Health-checks

Students taking in person classes, and students in on-campus housing are required to complete a daily health check:

If you are a student living on-campus and are sick, please contact the Housing Coordinator to access a self-isolation space.
