Indigenization

Since 1995, local Indigenous communities within the College region have supported and guided the College’s ability to provide and grow Indigenous culture and knowledge into the student experience.

Presently, we are working with our First Nations Council to refresh the existing Stepping Stones Action Plan [PDF] to incorporate Truth and Reconciliation with more depth and breadth, as well as address how to transform/change teaching and learning to be responsive and responsible to Indigenous learners and communities for the benefit of all.

Moving forward, we will continue to identify more ways we can strengthen our responsiveness and responsibility to Indigenous learners and communities. We invite your participation in our ongoing transformation in this regard.
