Elders & Knowledge Keepers

Seeking Elders & Indigenous Knowledge Keepers

Coast Mountain College is committed to supporting Indigenous students. Through traditional activities and gatherings our students have the opportunity to connect to their cultures and benefit from peer support.

We seek Indigenous Knowledge Keepers and Elders from the traditional unceded territories of the Tsimshian, Haida, Haisla, Nisga’a, Gitxsan and Wet’suwet’en nations to share traditional knowledge, experiences, stories, and wisdom with our CMTN Students through workshops, talking circles, language lessons and more.

For more details, please connect with the First Nations Access Coordinators for a meet and greet. We will discuss technology uses, and how we will honour the elder/knowledge keeper for their time and knowledge shared.
