Administration & governance

Coast Mountain College is part of British Columbia's public post-secondary education system and is governed by the College and Institute Act which helps fulfill the Province's educational mandate.

External agencies

The Ministry of Advanced Education is the government department which oversees all the public post-secondary institutions in the province.

The Post-Secondary Employers' Association is the employer bargaining agent for all public colleges, university-colleges, and institutes in British Columbia.

College Board & Councils

Within the College itself, the Board of Governors provides long-term direction to the College. Coast Mountain College and the Board work in partnership with both the Education Council and First Nations Council.

Leadership 

The College President and administrators manage the operation of the College, ensuring the College's strategic directives are being met.
