Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Terrace campus, invites applications for a full-time College Professor in the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program (NCBNP). Salary will be in accordance with the CUPE Instructor Scale (range: $70,437 - $112,872 per annum) plus a comprehensive benefit plan.

Duties: The College Professors are responsible for contributing to the academic success of students in the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing program (NCBNP). This includes course preparation, teaching and guiding students, providing feedback, correction, encouragement, and direction in the program courses which may include theory, lab, and/or clinical.

This position is located at the Terrace Campus and instructors are expected to teach theory in-person. However, there may be times when instructors will need to teach via Hybrid or distance delivery. Clinical placements may be located within Terrace, Kitimat and Prince Rupert clinical facilities.

Qualifications

A master’s degree in nursing preferred, a current practicing license with the Nursing regulator college (BCCNM), and current CPR certificate along with a minimum of 5 years clinical practice experience and teaching experience. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree will be considered with a combination of education and experience. Successful candidates will be adaptable, flexible and comfortable with change and have excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
