CMTN fall registration begins June 1 by phone and online

May 27, 2020

Registration for most fall programming begins on Monday, June 1. Coast Mountain College faculty are working hard to develop quality programming in a distributed learning format for all courses and programs we offer.

Registration is available by phone, and online using the myCMTN link on the Coast Mountain College home page. In-person registration is not available at this time, and students and staff will be updated when in-person registration begins. Returning students are eligible to register June 1 and new students may register beginning June 8.

“We know students are eager to register for their fall courses and our faculty have been hard at work developing ways to ensure that students receive experiential learning opportunities even in a distributed learning environment,” says President and CEO, Justin Kohlman. “Our innovative faculty, dedicated student support staff, and our small class sizes mean that students at Coast Mountain College have a support network available to them at all times.”

Distributed Learning uses tools may include, web-conferencing platforms, online videos, social media, textbooks, print modules, email, local contexts and experiential tasks.

Programs with a required practicum, workshop or lab component will be blended so that the practical components will take place in a regulated manner meeting all the necessary health protocols as outlined by BC’s Provincial Health Officer.
