Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Terrace campus, invites applications for a Program Coordinator/Instructor in the Health Programs: Access to Practical Nursing, Practical Nursing and Health Care Assistant. The appointment will be commencing January 17, 2026, and ending on July 17, 2027, for an 18-month term (subject to a leave). The salary will be in accordance with the BCGEU Instructor salary scale, ranging between $2,752.72 and $3,560.23 plus a comprehensive benefit plan.

Duties: Reporting to the Associate Dean of Health Programs and working closely with the Chair/Coordinator of Health Programs, the Program Coordinator will ensure program evolution and play a collaborative and leading role in ensuring program quality, effectiveness, efficiency, accreditation, and student success.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Instructor hiring and scheduling
- Program and curriculum development
- Budget development and maintenance
- Educational liaison and articulation
- Student recruitment/retention and advocacy, community outreach, and program promotion
- Chairing meetings and participating in committee work
- Contributing to record keeping and timely report writing, including for accreditation bodies
- All other related duties of similar scope and complexity
As an instructor, responsibilities will encompass facilitating student academic achievement in the APN, PN, and HCA programs, including course preparation, teaching, assessing student work, and providing constructive feedback, guidance and support.
