First Aid, Health & Safety

Our experienced instructors teach first aid theory and the practical skills needed to be able to effectively manage workplace medical emergencies and in those areas where an OFA 3 certified person is required. Hands on exercises on the use of AEDs (automated external defibrillators) is also practiced.

OFA 3 certification requires examinations (written, practical and oral) conducted by a certified examiner at the end of instruction. A score at or above 70% is required in order to be successful.

This certification is valid for 3 years from the date of the exam. Note: If certification has been expired for more than two years, the candidate must re-do the full OFA 3 course.
