Description
This scholarship is provided in lasting memory of instructor John Wood's contribution to Adult Basic Education in Prince Rupert. $500 will be given to a Coast Mountain College student who has completed the prerequisites for entry into a post-secondary program. The successful recipient must enroll full-time (60% course load min) in the following fall semester to redeem the scholarship. Proof of registration must be sent to the CMTN Financial Aid Office by September 30. Registration can be at any recognized post-secondary institution.
Criteria
To be eligible a student must:
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or refugee, and BC resident;
- Have completed the prerequisites for entry into a post-secondary program. Prince Rupert campus student preferred;
- Enrol full-time in a post-secondary program beginning in the following fall semester.
