College Professor - Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program (Terrace)

Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Terrace campus, invites applications for a part-time College Professor in the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program (NCBNP). Salary will be in accordance with the CUPE Instructor Scale (range: $5,775.84 - $9,255.50 per section).

Duties:  The College Professors are responsible for contributing to the academic success of students in the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing program (NCBNP). This includes course preparation, teaching and guiding students, providing feedback, correction, encouragement, and direction in the following courses:

• NURS 205: Introduction to First Nations Health (1 section); September to December 2024

A Master’s degree in Nursing, a current practicing license with the Nursing regulator college (BCCNM), and current CPR certificate along with a minimum of 5 years clinical practice experience and teaching experience. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree will be considered with a combination of education and experience. Successful candidates will be adaptable, flexible and comfortable with change and have excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
