Watch as students embarked on a two-week tour of the Coast Mountains of BC, starting in Terrace and traveling through the central interior, on to Bella Coola and then by ferry to Prince Rupert.
Along the way, they investigated the diversity of ecosystems including temperate rainforest, boreal forest, alpine, wetlands, estuaries, intertidal habitats, and open-ocean. As a project-based field school, they worked as a team to describe and compare the ecology of each major ecosystem visited.
