    Don Anderson Memorial Award

    $500

    Description

    This $500 award is made available through donations from family and friends in the memory of Don Anderson, President of Coast Mountain College from 1989 to 1994. Selection will be based on the highest Grade Point Average attained in the first semester of those students who apply or are nominated for notable dedication to the College or their program.

    Criteria

    To be eligible a student must:

    • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or refugee, and BC resident;
    • Be out of high school for at least three years;
    • Have started in September full-time (100% course load) as a first year student in an academic, career or vocational program;
    • Reach the mid-point of the first year of their program by January;
    • Demonstrate academic excellence by achieving the highest GPA of applicants.
