The snowshoeing program, UP!, will continue this year as a weekly event. Each Wednesday at noon, staff and students are welcome to come out and hike or snowshoe (weather dependent) on one of the many local trails in and surrounding Smithers.
The group gathers at 12:00pm at the campus front entrance, selects a trail, and then leaves at 12:05pm. We will hike as far as we can manage, respecting our time frame to return to the College by 12:55pm.
All are welcome. Come clear your mind, release endorphins, and step out into nature!
Meeting time: 12 p.m. at the front entrance of the Smithers campus by the College van
Leaving campus: 12:05 p.m.
Return to campus: 12:55 p.m.
There are only 6 seats in the college van. Pre-book your seat here: cmacpherson@coastmountaincollege.ca. Staff and students are welcome to take their own vehicles and meet the group at the trail head.
