Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Terrace campus, invites applications for a full-time continuing Student Housing & Fitness Center Support to commence April 1, 2026. This position operates in the evening and on weekends; however, a flexible schedule will be required. Salary will be in accordance with the BCGEU Support Staff Salary Scale, Level 5 ($2,030.00 biweekly) plus a comprehensive benefits plan.

Duties: To support the mission, mandate, tasks and goals of Student Housing and create a sense of community in Housing by supporting operations and maintaining safe and clean accommodations for students. This position supports the department as a whole as well as the manager.
Illustrative sample of tasks:
- Support with regular check ins with the Housing Advisors to share information on campus activities, student wellbeing, safety and maintenance concerns, and or other matters that require immediate attention.
- Signing in and out guests and visitors, collecting and recording all relevant information
- Reporting all matters of student concerns and requiring attention to the Housing Manager.
- Follow up on complaints as required and look for any anomalies that should be reported to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with regular inspections of equipment and common areas for cleanliness, damage, hazards and maintenance requirements and contact Facilities and janitorial staff as needed for cleaning or repairs
- Assist with reviewing the Student Housing Handbook with all new and returned students upon check in as required.
- Assist with Fitness Centre orientation as needed.
- Act as liaison between Fitness Centre and different departments within and outside the College such as Student Services, Community Resources, and emergency services (RCMP, Fire Department) as needed.
- Act as the front-line contact to receive Fitness Centre applications, complaints, report concerns or observations as required All other tasks of similar scope and complexity as required
