Equity and Accessibility in the Workplace Series

The Equity and Accessibility in the Workplace Series is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to foster a more inclusive and equitable work environment. This series includes three comprehensive, 6-hour courses that address key areas of workplace diversity, inclusion and accessibility. By engaging in these courses, participants will learn how to recognize and overcome barriers to equity, promote inclusive practices, and implement strategies for creating a more accessible workplace.

Workplace Diversity

With the world becoming more mobile and diverse, diversity has taken on a new importance in the workplace. You will be able to use strategies for removing barriers and stereotypes, and to encourage diversity in the workplace and even through their community. 

The Workshop Diversity course will help you understand what diversity is all about, and how you can help create a more diverse world at work and at home. You will be instructed to use skills such as active listening to receive messages in a diverse population, employ effective questioning techniques, and communicate with strength.
