Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Terrace campus, invites applications for a full-time Regional Program Assistant in the Workforce Training/Contract Services (WTCS) department. This appointment will commence as soon as possible. Salary will be in accordance with the BCGEU Support Staff Scale, Level 9: $2,361.10 biweekly plus a comprehensive benefits plan.

Responsibilities: The position sets up and schedules WTCS courses, handles daily administrative tasks, and supports student registration, instructors, and program logistics. It serves as a frontline contact for students, staff, and community members, ensures smooth delivery of non‑credit and contract training, maintains program records, and assists with room bookings, regulatory requirements, and general administrative needs.
An illustrative sample of key responsibilities:
- Set up course and contract sections in Colleague (Timetabling) ensuring accuracy of data entry from Program Officers/Coordinators throughout the college region
- Support cost-recovered programs and non-credit public courses and related duties which can include budgeting, scheduling, instructor recruitment, assisting in preparing instructor packages, registering students and taking payments, and completing files at end of program/course
- Create promotional and marketing materials in collaboration with the Communications department
- Update website content and social media as needed.
- Process external/internal room bookings for the Terrace Campus.
- Support the delivery of online courses with Ed2Go/Gatlin Education
- Oversee Exam Invigilation, including organizing hiring and training invigilators
