Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Terrace campus, invites applications for a full-time term Employee Services Assistant. This appointment will commence as soon as possible and end October 31, 2026 (subject to a leave). This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to break into or gain further experience in human resources. Salary will be in accordance with the BCGEU Support Staff Scale, Level 9: $2,361.10 biweekly plus a comprehensive benefits plan.

Responsibilities: The Employee Services Assistant will perform administrative functions supporting the employee journey at CMTN. They will enhance the employee experience by responding to inquiries or concerns received via telephone, or email ensuring timely customer service.
An illustrative sample of tasks include:
- Prepare postings, receive applications, field enquiries from candidates, distribute application packages to selection committees, providing advice and assistance to committees as required
- Process employee leave plan accruals and tracking employee leave plan usage
- Receive, code, and submit expense claims for payment
- Provides support for special projects and events
- Other related duties of similar scope and complexity as required
