Natasha has been an instructor in the Applied Coastal Ecology program since 1997.  Natasha completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Sciences, majoring in Wildlife Management from the University of British Columbia.

In addition to teaching, Natasha is actively involved in various local environmental and wildlife monitoring research projects.  Natasha is currently the coordinator for the Aquatic Invasive Species program working in partnership with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and the Smithsonian Institute, which involves monitoring for marine invasive species in the Prince Rupert Harbor.  As well, Natasha is part of the Northwest British Columbia Reptile and Amphibian monitoring program (NWBC-RAMP) with the Northern Amphibians Naturalist Society.  Natasha has also worked on a project collecting bat echolocation data to document presence or non-presence of bat species during various times of the year.

Natasha’s extracurricular activities involve exploring the outdoors, travelling with family and playing her favorite winter sport, curling.  Natasha is currently the vice president of the Prince Rupert Curling Club, volunteering her time to fundraising and junior curling development.
