My name is Kari Eisner and I teach Workplace Skills Training and Retail Skills in the Link to Employment and Academic Pathways (LEAP) Department. I have a BSW from UNBC and a PID from Vancouver Community College and am a registered Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers.
My favourite part about teaching is seeing students achieve their goals and become more confident learners. Their courage and determination in the face of adversity never ceases to amaze me!
I like to spend my free time camping and hiking. There are so many great things about our region, from camping on Kalum Lake near Terrace or Tlell on Haida Gwaii or at Dragon Lake in the Nass Valley; I like them all for their beauty and their serenity.
