At Coast Mountain College we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation very closely. We continue to be guided by the Provincial Health Officer and are working with the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training. The health of our college community, students and employees remains our top priority.
Transition to distributed learning going smoothly
Monday, March 23 marked the continued suspension of face-to-face learning across all Coast Mountain College campuses and the beginning of new distributed learning models for currently enrolled students. Communication to students about next steps for their classes has been sent via instructors. Any students that have not yet heard from their instructors should contact the Registrar’s Office at info@coastmountaincollege.ca for follow up. This is a significant undertaking in just a few days and Coast Mountain College is grateful to its staff, students, faulty and instructors for their innovativeness and resilience in these challenging times.
No visitors please
In the interest of ensuring physical distancing currently required, the Smithers and Prince Rupert and Terrace campuses of Coast Mountain College are now open only to registered students, staff, instructors and faculty. We kindly ask the public to reach out to these campuses by telephone or email. Contact information is available here for Smithers, and here for Prince Rupert and here for Terrace.
