Terrace Rotary Trade Foundations Award

Description

The Rotary Club of Terrace through its fund-raising efforts provides two annual awards of $1,200 each to two Coast Mountain College students that completed high school in Terrace. The purpose of these awards is to encourage and financially assist students from the Terrace Area to pursue further education. One award is to go to a student in an academic field (see Terrace Rotary Academic Success Award) while the second award is for a student in a trades foundation program.

Criteria

To be eligible a student must:

  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or refugee, and BC resident.
  • Be enrolled full-time in a foundation-level trades program.
  • Have graduated from a high school in the Terrace or Thornhill area.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
