Description
Skeena Gold + Silver is a Canadian mining company advancing responsible gold and silver development in the Golden Triangle of northwest British Columbia—one of the world’s leading mining regions.
Built on the belief that mining can be a positive force, Skeena is committed to creating long-term value for communities, partners, and stakeholders through thoughtful and forward-looking practices.
This award supports Indigenous students pursuing post-secondary education at Coast Mountain College, with a focus on encouraging women to pursue careers in skilled trades. It recognizes the strong and growing demand for trades within the mining sector and reflects a commitment to increasing female participation in these fields. Through this support, Skeena aims to help students build meaningful careers that contribute to their communities and the future of the industry.
