Description

Through a donation to the Coast Mountain College Endowment Fund from the Northern Interior FoodSafe Council and the BC Restaurant and Food Services Association North Central Branch, a bursary of $500 is available annually for a full-time student in a Culinary Arts program.

Criteria

To be eligible a student must:

  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or refugee, and BC resident;
  • Be studying full-time in a Culinary Arts program;
  • Demonstrate financial need;
  • Submit a copy of their FoodSafe Level 1 Certificate;
  • Submit a letter outlining their personal commitment to the FoodSafe program.

Selection will be based primarily on financial need, demonstrated commitment to the FoodSafe program, and satisfactory academic performance.
