    Bulkley Valley Credit Union Award

    Description

    Bulkley Valley Credit Union is proud to support Coast Mountain College by providing a $1,500 award to one student in financial need this year. This award is open to full time students studying at the Smithers or Terrace campus, who call the Bulkley Valley & Lakes District home. This reflects BVCU’s commitment to helping local students access education, build their future, and strengthen the communities we all share.

    Criteria

    To be eligible a student must:

    • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or refugee;
    • Be a BC resident (Bulkley Valley, Hazelton, Smithers, Houston, and Burns Lake). Preference given to a Bulkley Valley student attending a full-time program at the Smithers or Terrace Campus. Preference giving to greatest need.
    • Demonstrate financial need;
    • Be enrolled full-time (min 60% course-load);
