Description
The Bravo Cleaning Services Perseverance Award has been established by owner Dave Reniero. After years of hard work and dedication, Dave developed a successful cleaning business that now has over 40 employees. Many of his employees throughout the years have been international students from many countries. Seeing the hard work of the international students hired at Bravo over the years, Dave has appreciated the dedication and efforts of these individuals and what they offered to his business and our community.
This award is open to any international student enrolled full-time at Coast Mountain College. Instructor recommendation will be sought for applicants to verify that the award recipient demonstrates that they are driven, with good work ethics and apply their academics to attain their future career goals.
Criteria
To be eligible a student must:
- Be an International student enrolled full-time (min 60% course load);
- Have a min GPA of 3.0 or 75%;
- Demonstrate financial need;
- Submit a letter detailing how you are balancing work and education, and list place of employment.
Prior to receiving the award, the selected student will be required to submit proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from an instructor demonstrating that they are driven, with good work ethic, and that they apply their academics to attain their future career goals.
