Twenty days of face-to-face, hands-on instruction in:
- Basic Security Training. Students must be 19 years of age to apply for the Basic Security License. The training course focuses on professionalism and ethics, legal studies, report writing, and personal safety.
- Safety certifications: Bear Awareness, WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, OFA Level 1, Transportation Endorsement.
- Skills for Success courses: Goal Setting and Getting Things Done, Handling a Difficult Customer, Civility in the Workplace, Self-Leadership, Digital Citizenship, Managing Personal Finances, Taking Initiative, Job Search Skills.
