This Thursday, February 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Mental Health and Wellness Officer Beverly Roldo will be in the Cedar Café in Waap Amgam reminding everyone about the Safer Campuses for Everyone Course. She will be handing out mini-chocolate bars with the course link and information about the course.
The Safer Campuses for Everyone course gives learners the opportunity to increase their knowledge about the types and impacts of sexual violence and to examine some of the reasons why sexual violence happens. You will learn about the importance of consent in all relationships and how to safely intervene to prevent sexual violence. As well, you learn about how to find support for yourself or how to support someone else who has experienced sexual violence.
You can complete the course in 40 minutes online. If you complete before March 1, you will be entered a draw to win 1 of 10 $25 grocery gift cards.
